A natural scene or scenery that does not include domestic animals or cultivated plants. Human elements cannot be visible; thus, the following are also excluded: fences, cut grass, sawed logs, telephone poles, buildings, wires, streets, trash, etc. However, ear tags and leg banding are allowed on otherwise non-domesticated animals. Photographs of artificially produced hybrid plants or animals, mounted specimens, or obviously set arrangements, are ineligible, as is any form of manipulation that alters the truth of the photographic statement. The story telling value of a nature photograph may be considered on a par with the pictorial quality.
